Office of the Directorate General Assam Rifles, Shillong has released the Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesman Recruitment Rally 2026 for various Group C posts. The recruitment is being conducted for candidates who meet the prescribed educational, age, physical and trade-specific eligibility requirements.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 2026
Computer Based Test (CBT) 2026
The Computer Based Test will be conducted for candidates who qualify the prescribed initial stages of the recruitment process.
The question paper will consist of objective-type questions. The minimum qualifying marks are 35% for General / EWS candidates and 33% for SC, ST and OBC candidates.
Candidates who qualify the required stages will be shortlisted for the Trade Skill Test and subsequent recruitment stages.
Trade Skill Test 2026
Trade Skill Test for Technical and Tradesman personnel will be based on the prescribed practical skill requirements of the respective trade.
No marks will be awarded for the Trade Skill Test. Candidates declared successful in the Trade Skill Test will be considered for the next stages of recruitment.
