Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens, Male and Female, for recruitment to the posts of Head Constable/General Duty and Constable/General Duty under Sports Quota-2026. The recruitment is only for meritorious sportspersons who have represented or won medals/participated in the competitions as prescribed in the detailed recruitment notification. The posts are Group 'C', Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial on temporary basis, likely to be made permanent. Sports Qualification
The recruitment is specifically for meritorious sportspersons. As mentioned in the notification, eligible candidates may include sportspersons who have:
- Represented the country in recognized International Competitions/Meets with clearance of the Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
- Represented a State/UT in National Games/Championship organized by recognized National Sports Federations or National Games organized by Indian Olympic Association and secured medals or positions up to 3rd place.
- Secured first or second position in individual events in Inter University Tournaments. In team events, the team must have reached the finals.
- Won Gold or Silver medal in individual/team events in Junior National level Games/Championship/Meet organized by recognized National Sports Federations.
- For Constable/GD, the notification also specifies sports achievements at Senior/Junior National level and other prescribed competitions.

Selection Process
Candidates who have represented or won medals in the prescribed competitions during the specified period shall be eligible for recruitment. The recruitment process includes:
